Seohyun

Introduction

Seo Joohyun, known under her stage name Seohyun, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress under Namoo Actors. She is best known as the maknae and lead vocalist of the girl group Girls’ Generation which debuted in 2007. She is also a member of it’s sub-unit Girls’ Generation-TTS along with members Tiffany and Taeyeon. She later made her solo debut with the mini album “Don’t Say No” on January 17, 2017.

Seohyun branched into acting in 2013 with a small role in the television drama “Passionate Love.” She has since appeared in the popular dramas “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” (2016), “Ruby Ruby Love” (2017), “Bad Thief, Good Thief” (2017), “The Time” (2018) and “Jinxed at First” (2022).

In October 2017, Seohyun left SM Entertainment to pursue acting but promised to always be with her fellow members when needed. She joined Namoo Actors in 2019 to focus on her acting career.
