Nako

Introduction

Yabuki Nako, or simply Nako, is a Japanese singer, lyricist, actress, and radio host under Twin Planet Entertainment. She is a former member of the Japanese idol girl group HKT48 and the project girl group IZ*ONE after ranking #6 in the hit survival program Produce48 with 261,788 votes, earning her a spot in the group.

She debuted as a member of IZ*ONE on October 29, 2018, with their first mini album “Color*Iz”.

On April 29, 2021, her contract with IZ*ONE officially expired and she and the other two Japanese members returned to Japan. On May 15, 2021, she resumed formally HKT48 activities with a theatre appearance.

In October of 2022, Nako had shared that she was busy preparing for her graduation concert, and on April 1st that concert was held, finishing her career in HKT48.

Nako made her Japanese film debut as young Minami Asakura in the coming-of-age film “Touch” in 2005 and continues to pursue a career in acting.
