Introduction

Park Sooyoung, known professionally as Joy, is a South Korean singer, actress, and host under SM Entertainment. She debuted as a member of the Kpop girl group Red Velvet on August 1, 2014, with the single “Happiness.”

In 2017, Joy made her acting debut in the drama “The Liar and His Lover,” followed by lead roles in “Tempted” (2018), “The One and Only” (2021), and “Once Upon a Small Town” (2022). She has been recognized for her versatility in both music and acting.

Joy debuted as a solo artist on May 31, 2021, with the special album “Hello,” becoming the second Red Velvet member to release a solo project. In addition to her music and acting career, she has also worked as a television host, further expanding her presence in the entertainment industry.
