Hyein

Introduction

Lee Hye-in is a South Korean singer and dancer under ADOR and HYBE Labels. She is the maknae of the girl group NewJeans.

Before being widely recognized as the maknae of NewJeans, Hyein started as a child model for different brands and fashion shows. Under the stage name Yujeong, she later went on to promote as a member of the kids girl group U.SSO Girl, alongside BABYMONSTER’s Rora, until 2018.

In 2019, Hyein became a member of the kids co-ed group Play With Me Club and regularly appeared on Pocket TV’s various content on YouTube, where she got to showcase her talent in singing, dancing, hosting, and even acting. She graduated from the group around 2021. Following this, Hyein began to train under ADOR until making her official debut as the youngest member of NewJeans on July 22, 2022.

On July 22, 2022, Hyein officially debuted as a member of NewJeans with their self-titled debut mini album “NewJeans”.

In April 2024, It was announced that Hyein would be on hiatus due to a fractured ankle. On July 12, 2024, ADOR announced that Hyein would be resuming activities with NewJeans due to her recovering from her ankle injury.
