NMIXX (formerly known pre-debut as JYPn) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group originally debuted with seven members on February 22, 2022, with the single album “AD MARE” and its title track “O.O”. They currently consist of Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, following the departure of member Jinni in December 2022.
Preceding their debut, JYP Entertainment launched a pre-promotion project in August 2021 under the name JYPn, releasing various performance and cover videos to introduce the members. A limited-edition single, titled “Blind Package,” was offered for pre-order from July 16 to 25, 2021, and included exclusive items such as a photo book, poster, and Polaroid. The promotion drew significant attention, selling over 60,000 copies during its pre-order period.
NMIXX’s debut single album AD MARE garnered wide recognition for its experimental sound and genre fusion, reflecting the group’s concept of versatility. JYP Entertainment stated that the members do not have fixed positions, emphasizing their ability to excel across vocals, dance, and visual performance.
