Introduction

Jo Yuri is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress under WAKEONE.

Jo Yuri gained recognition after being a contestant in Mnet’ survival show Idol School, where she was eliminated in the final episode after ranking 15th place, as well as the third season of Mnet hit survival show, Produce 48, where she represented Stone Music Entertainment and ended up ranking 3rd with 294,734 votes in the finale, thus being able to be a part of the final group, IZ*ONE, with whom she debuted on October 29, 2018, with the release of their first mini album, titled “COLOR*IZ”.

After IZ*ONE disbandment on April 29, 2021, Jo Yuri returned to her agency and eventually debuted as a soloist on October 7, 2021, with the release of her first single album “GLASSY”. Still on October 7, she announced her fans would be called “GLASSY”, the same name as her debut.

Aside from her music career, she also made her acting debut in 2022 in the drama series “Mimicus”, which aired from July 22 to September 14, 2022. She also played a prominent role in the widely popular drama Squid Game in its second and third seasons, which aired in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
