Introduction
Kang Hyewon is a South Korean actress, singer, songwriter and model.
In 2018, she competed on Mnet’s hit survival show Produce 48, where she ranked 8th place with 248,432 votes, earning her a spot in the project group IZ*ONE. She made her official debut as a member of the group on October 29, 2018, with the release of the mini album “COLOR*IZ”.
After IZ*ONE’s disbandment in the spring of 2021, she made her acting debut in the drama “Best Mistakes Season 3”, which aired from December 2021 to February 2022. Since then, she got main roles in dramas such as “Seasons of Blossom”, which aired in 2022, “Boyhood” in 2023, and “Friendly Rivalry”, in 2025.
Kang Hyewon eventually debuted as a soloist on December 22, 2021, with the release of the special winter album titled “W”.
