Jimin

Introduction

Park Jimin is a South Korean singer-songwriter, dancer, composer, and producer under Big Hit Entertainment HYBE Labels. He is best known as the lead vocalist and one of the main dancers of the worldwide sensation boy group BTS.

Jimin was a top student in the modern dance department at Busan High School when one of his teachers suggested he audition for an entertainment company. Following this, Jimin tried to audition for several companies and eventually earned a spot in Big Hit Entertainment.

In 2013, Jimin debuted with BTS and went on to become one of the most well-known and loved artists of his generation.

In 2023, Jimin released his first solo album ‘FACE’ and upon the release of his title track ‘Like Crazy,’ he became the first Kpop Soloist to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jimin’s second solo album ”MUSE”, released in 2024 earned him his second no. 2 entry on the Billboard 200 Chart, after ”FACE” in 2023. The album’s two main tracks ”Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco” and ”Who” became his fifth and sixth solo entry on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. In August, 2024 ”Who” also became the longest-running no. 1 by a K-pop soloist in Billboard Global 200 chart history.
